The Russian specialized equipment is scheduled for display in Mongolia on a grand-scale exhibition

It was preliminary agreed by the Russian delegation during its visit to Ulaanbaatar. The parties discussed the organization of Russian-Mongolian initiative – 2018 (RMI) congress and exhibition event.


The Russian delegation was comprised by the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Rosspetsmash Association, heads of Embassy and Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Mongolia.

Under the auspices of Khaltmaagiin Battulga, the President of Mongolia, the series of RMI events in Ulaanbaatar in 2018 will be the largest event aimed at the development and strengthening of trade, economic, industrial and investment cooperation between Russia and Mongolia.

The delegation had meetings with the Chairman of Mongolia-Russia Interparliamentary Group, Byambasuren Enkh Amgalan, the head of the RMI Mongolian steering committee, Tumen Tegshjargal, the Advisor to the President of Mongolia on Foreign Policy, as well as with the heads of the Ulaanbaatar mayor's office, the Emergency Agency, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Industry, and the Customs service.

The concept and arranging of RMI were approved. It is planned to organize a large-scale exposition which will display the products of the Russian agriculture, road-building, food machine industry, automobile industry, aircraft industry, and also to held a fair of Russian consumer goods.

The parties plan to agree on a programme of forthcoming events until the meeting of the Russian-Mongolian Intergovernmental Commission in Moscow on February 27, 2018.

At the meetings in the relevant agencies of Mongolia, the parties discussed the supply of emergency rescue equipment and the equipment made in Russia, as well as funding instruments within the framework of the programs aimed to support the export of high-tech products to the Mongolian market.
